Elizabeth offers paleo or gluten-free cooking coaching for individuals and small groups in the Reno/Sparks area. Classes can also be tailored for the Specific Carbohydrate Diet.



Making Kombucha

Hands-on class on fermenting and flavoring your own kombucha culture. Students will experience the process from beginning to end, sample different flavors of kombucha, and take home scobys to start their own batches of this delightful fermented tea.

Class length: 3 hours
Cost: $95 individual, $55 group (per person)

The Art of Planning Ahead: Saving time with Menu Plans, Shopping Lists, and More

Have you ever decided to cook beans for dinner, then discovered you forgot to soak them the day before? Or found yourself making 4 extra trips to the grocery store for things you forgot the first time? In this class, students will discover organizational, time-saving tools to help keep their healthy cooking goals on track. Each student will plan a weekly menu, create a shopping list, and develop simple strategies and tools for keeping on top of their cooking tasks.

Class length: 2 hours
Cost: $55 individual, $25 group (per person)

Baking with Homemade Nut Flours

Learn to make your own nut flours using walnuts, pecans, or cashews; then create healthy and satisfying nut flour treats. Experience the delicious flavors of cashew-blueberry muffins, orange-walnut torte, and royal double-chocolate walnut cookies.
